I refuse to believe golf is declining! July 24 2014

Dicks Sporting Goods and Golf Galaxy have recently laid off all of there in store PGA professionals. They said it was because golf is on the decline. This has caused an up roar in the golf community.  They are blaming anything and everything on the decline of golf.  Some say it is because Tiger is not playing as much or because the equipment is too expensive or because golf courses charge too much for a round of golf.  I believe golf is growing and ready for an explosion. You just have to go to the right places to see it. If you as an adult golfer haven't been to a Jr PGA event, US Kids qualifier, Little Linksters camp, or PGA Jr League Golf or a Drive,Chip, and Putt event  you are missing out! That is the future of golf, and these kids are amazing!  They didn't have anything like this when I was a kid! I am definitely challenging the "decline of golf". I'm just not going to accept that.

Parents are going to have to choose between buying that new $500 driver every year or getting your child lessons with a PGA professional and investing in training aids and equipment. The courses are going to have to change too. The courses that don't have family tees and discourage parents from bringing their kids along are going to be left behind.  I have discovered this first hand at many courses. We have actually been turned away even though my 7 year old shoots a lower score than most adults when playing from the age appropriate family tees. All of us here at Swinggait want to challenge you to get out there and start playing golf with your kids.  I think you will be amazed that while you are teaching your child to play golf, you will be the one who is learning how great a sport this really is!

We think Swinggait fits perfectly with these tips, since Swinggait is a great way to non verbally help guide your junior golfer to find their own natural swing.  Set them up for the shot and watch them flurish. Swinggait can be used on the course, at the range, and on the practice green.
